Sun Ridge Environmental operates a treatment and transfer facility capable of managing contaminated soils, which are not classified as hazardous waste by the BC CSR Industrial use guidelines. SRE also has capabilities to effectively manage both hydrocarbon and metals contaminated in soil. Soils are treated and managed to reduce contamination and achieve licensed disposal and reuse at local landfills.
SRE can accept non-hazardous BC Industrial level (IL/IL+) contaminated soil.
Clean Soil Disposal
Sun Ridge Environmental accepts clean soil for disposal at our Kootenay Way facility.Customers can bring material directly to the site, weigh in on arrival, unload, and weigh out after disposal. Rate: $5.00 per metric tonnem Minimum charge: $5.00
Contaminated Soil Disposal
Sun Ridge Environmental also provides disposal options for contaminated and impacted soil. We can review soil containing hydrocarbons, CL and IL contaminants, and other impacted material to determine acceptance requirements and pricing.
