Sun Ridge Contracting Ltd. is a Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Band Member-owned corporation based in Kamloops, BC. Sun Ridge Environmental is the corporation’s environmental division.
Sun Ridge may be accurately described as a “Band-member owned affiliated business” in relation to Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc. The wording reflects ownership by a TteS Band Member and Sun Ridge’s local business affiliation. It does not mean TteS itself owns Sun Ridge or that the organizations are legal partners.
Regular Communication With TteS
Sun Ridge maintains regular communication with Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc regarding business, procurement and project opportunities. There is no separate formal agreement between Sun Ridge and TteS governing this relationship.
Member-Owned Procurement Opportunities
As a TteS Band Member-owned business, Sun Ridge can participate in procurement processes and business opportunities that recognize or support eligible local Indigenous and member-owned companies. The nature of that consideration varies by project and procurement process.
Sun Ridge values opportunities that create local employment, training, subcontracting and business participation across environmental, civil, mining, trucking and equipment work.
