Kamloops, BC — Est. 1994

History & Values

Sun Ridge began operating in Kamloops as a proprietorship in 1994 and has remained under the same leadership ever since. Today, Sun Ridge Contracting Ltd. operates two divisions: Sun Ridge Contracting for mining and civil work and Sun Ridge Environmental for environmental services. That continuity is central to the Sun Ridge Environmental history.

After operating as a proprietorship from 1994, the business incorporated as Sun Ridge Equipment Ltd. on May 20, 2011. Major work supporting New Gold's New Afton Mine began around the same time and became an important part of the company's growth.

2024 and Beyond | Thirty Years in Business

Sun Ridge marked 30 years of continuous operations in 2024. Honesty, integrity, service, safety, hard work and community remain central to how the corporation works with employees, clients, Indigenous organizations and industry partners. Growth has changed the scale of the business, but not the basic expectation of accountable, practical work.

Our Values

Honesty. Integrity. Community.

These principles have guided Sun Ridge since 1994 and continue to shape how we work with clients, employees, Indigenous organizations and industry partners across Kamloops and the BC Interior.
